Total Cost of Procedure
One of the most common inquiries we receive at the Breast & Body Clinic is in regards to cost. We often state that cost is often dependent on your specific procedure, its size, and a range of other factors; however, to help with budgeting and affordability, the below indicators will give you an idea of the costs associated with your considered procedure.
The total cost of the procedure is comprised of surgical fee, anaesthetist fee, theatre and hospital stay, assistant’s fee, implants/devices and potential additional fees to consider.
Surgical
Fee
Includes the surgeon’s fee as well as compression garments (if applicable) and all post-operative appointments. In the unlikely event of an emergency situation or complications the additional services and supplies required are included in the surgical fee as well.
Anaesthetist
Fee
Anaesthetists’ services and expenses are in addition to the surgical fee.
Theatre and
Hospital Stay
The charge for your stay will depend on how many nights you are required to stay (some procedures only require you to remain at the hospital for the day). Costs will also encompass any specific requirements in regards to diet or special assistance that may be required for wheelchair access or allergies.
Cosmetic surgery costs in the UK: full price list and what is included
Private cosmetic surgery in the UK ranges from around £3,850 for liposuction to one area to £17,500 for a total body lift. The price quoted for surgery is not the total cost: the full figure is made up of the surgical fee, the anaesthetist’s fee, theatre and hospital stay, any implants or devices used, and the assistant’s fee. All prices on this page were reviewed in July 2026. The table below lists our indicative starting prices for each procedure. Final costs are confirmed in writing after consultation, because they depend on the extent of surgery, whether more than one procedure is carried out at the same time, and whether an overnight stay is needed. How much does a mummy makeover cost?
A mummy makeover combines two or more procedures in a single operation with one recovery, so the cost depends on which procedures are included. Based on our individual procedure prices, the most common combinations start from the following:| Combination | From |
|---|---|
| Mini tummy tuck + breast uplift | £16,000 |
| Full tummy tuck + breast uplift | £18,500 |
| Full tummy tuck + breast uplift with implants | £19,500 |
| Full tummy tuck with 360 liposuction + breast uplift | £23,250 |
What is included in the price?
Every quotation we give covers the following components. Knowing what sits inside a quoted figure is the only way to compare prices between clinics meaningfully.| Component | What it covers | Included? |
|---|---|---|
| Surgical fee | The surgeon’s fee, compression garments where applicable, and all post-operative appointments | Yes |
| Anaesthetist fee | Anaesthetist’s services and expenses | Quoted separately |
| Theatre and stay | Theatre time and any nights in hospital | Quoted per procedure |
| Assistant’s fee | Surgical assistant where required | Quoted |
| Implants / devices | Breast implants, mesh where used | Quoted |
| Follow-up care | Post-operative reviews | Yes |
| Complication cover | Additional services and supplies required in the unlikely event of a complication | Yes |
Why do prices vary between clinics?
Four things drive most of the difference. Who performs the surgery and their level of training. Whether the quoted price is the surgical fee alone or the full cost including anaesthetist, theatre and hospital stay. Where the surgery takes place, since a CQC-registered private hospital carries different costs to a day clinic. And what happens afterwards — whether follow-up appointments, garments and revision cover are included or charged separately. When comparing quotations, ask each clinic for the total figure rather than the starting figure, and ask what is not included. Can I pay for surgery in instalments?
Yes. We offer finance through Chrysalis Finance, with terms from six months to two years. A £7,850 procedure over six months at 0% APR with a 50% deposit works out at £1,225 per month; the same procedure over two years at 14.9% APR with a £500 deposit works out at £337 per month. You can calculate the figure for your own procedure using the finance calculator on this page.

Is cosmetic surgery available on the NHS?
Usually not. The NHS may fund a procedure where there is a significant physical or psychological health reason — for example very large breasts causing documented musculoskeletal problems, or excess skin causing recurrent infection — but purely cosmetic procedures are not routinely funded. Criteria vary between local commissioning areas, and your GP can tell you whether you might meet them.
